What to do if an accident occurs
The same protocol can be used in all accident situations.
- ASSESS THE SITUATIONWhat has happened and where, under what conditions, are there casualties?
- RESCUEPeople in danger, prevent others from entering the danger zone.
- EXTINGUISHUsing the nearest fire extinguisher. Stop or prevent further leaks when dealing with a chemical leak.
- CALL FOR HELPUse the fire alarm button or telephone 112. Note! 020 710 8333 is Laanila Industrial Park internal emergency number.
- LIMITThe spread of the fire, close fire doors and hatches, prevent further danger from occurring in the area, in chemical leaks, limit the leak and prevent it from spreading.
- GUIDERescue units to the site, direct traffic past the site of the incident.
